During my time working with Eastern Washington University’s “Mariachi Las Aguilas”, I managed a small team of three audio engineers as we assisted in mixing the sound for various practice sessions and live performances. Whether at charity events for the University, or from quinceaneras to wedding events, the highly adaptive live performance venues required nonstop opportunities for applying adaptive thinking.
Mixing dozens of tracks into one cohesive musical vision tested the dynamism of my mind in continuously new ways.
